Principal’s
Award for Excellence |
| |
| This award recognizes the senior student
who best meets the following challenging criteria: |
| |
| |
The recipient must be of very high academic standing,
not achieving less than an 85% average. The higher the academic average
the more consideration the nominee receives. |
| |
|
| |
The student's involvement in school life. We look for
the well-rounded student who chooses to become involved in at least
one area outside of academics, whether it be school band, varsity
sports, student council, public speaking, drama, or any similar major
school activity. The greater the involvement, the more consideration
the student is given. |
| |
|
| |
The student volunteering in some capacity for the betterment
of other students. This volunteer work can be done as a peer tutor,
a coach of students in the lower grades, or just being on hand to
help out wherever help is needed. The more volunteering, the greater
the consideration given to the nominee. |
| |
|
| |
Finally, our award for excellence strongly
considers attitude. We look for a student who strives to be positive,
but equally as important, the student who strives, in every situation,
to reach their fullest potential. |
| |
| This award carries with it an individual
plaque and a $500.00 cash award from Pasadena Academy, $50.00 of which
comes from the Knights of Columbus. |
